If there's any nobs out there it's you, I wouldn't dream of working for an ******** like you because I'd end up hurting my hand on your dense head, you talk a good game but I bet your a fat old tosser who would struggle to fit through a door let alone do scaffold work!

im pretty sure that when wass1985 started this thread he was lookin for helpful advice/encouragement , maybe even hoped of finding a job , but he's had people who dont know him question his right to even get on the tools , question whether he could handle the work and now hes the kind of person that will hurt somebody , sort it out people , if u cant offer words of encouragement/advice to someone dont say anything , dont tell somebody that you dont know what they can do and what they cant , some of the people sayin things in this thread just make themselves look like fools and angry/bitter people , (all jokin aside) podger how the **** can u assume anything about this guy , do u know him ? have u worked with him? u fuckin psychic or what , u helmet,

Shut up you fukin nobhead....

There there wass, if it makes you feel better I can burp you, put talcum powder on your bum and give you a cuddle?

All joking aside, nobody knows how good this lad is so I don't see why people are making assumptions, part 1 or advanced makes no difference, it's what you do with the knowledge that counts.

You can moan, whinge, joke poke fun at, ridicule and even sl@g off but at the end of the day we all started somewhere who knows how good of a scaff he'll be in 5 years time only time will tell but if someone like podger is his teacher he'll get no where with his attitude not everyone starts off at 16/17 encourage and advise

sorry benj your wrong about podger, i worked under/with him for about 2 year (quite a while ago:eek:) and he knows his stuff and how to treat people who want to learn and achieve, i think its the "young lad" wass who is obviously on here to wind people up and your all feeding the troll.

I'm not winding anybody up ok, that ******** came out of nowhere and had a pop so I gave him some back

:)
Shut up you fukin nobhead....
:co
Deb very surprised at this comment , you are a supervisor/inspector would you let this guy loose with a set of spanners !!! Events last week have had serious impact on the site where I work at the minute raising issues on training and competence , there are even whispers of impending arrests within the management structure, its people like you and me who are putting our signatures to documentation which could have serious ramifications in the event of a serious accident .

Jb78 bit of bromance going on ? Totally disagree Wass1985 didn't come on to this forum looking for advice he came on here to announce to the scaffold community that he had arrived and was that he was paying for himself , had the CITB stuck rigidly to pre course criteria which states a minimum of six months industry experience he would not have been accepted as course candidate. In the early part of this thread the majority of the posts advised Wass1985 to get some experience as a labourer before going down the part 1 route and now by his own admission considers himself one step above a labourer ! A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, he now has ticket to say he is competent to work at height and erect/dismantle scaffolds well not in my opinion !

Wass1985, I may be a fat old tosser but I don't have justify myself to you , the position
I have within this industry is founded on a proven track record having worked my way up the hierarchy of the scaffold squad , labourer , improver , fixer .leading hand . Climbing the ladder because I had earned the respect of my peers and not because I'd bought myself a few tickets .
