Alrite lads how yous all doin? Has anybody heard back from cape about the man up in feb?? been on the fone a few times but cant get a reply wen i ask the question if they have got bck to anybody or if they have got the 40 + guys they need.

All right troops as far as i know there will be plenty of work for scaffs this year
Cape job at the Elgin/Franklin this will be accommodation barge due to move along side 01/05/13 10 months work
Cape job at the BP Andrew this job is ongoing and should be complete at the end of June the accommodation barge that is a long side should then move up to the BP Magnus for 9 months then move on to the BP Clair for Pre Hook up for the BP Clair ridge project in 2014.
Apache forties Alpha hook up this should start in June 10 months Stork ( RGB(
Coneco Jasmine hook up could all so be June Accommodation barge 10 months Stork (RGB) again
Also the Total Sulimvoe Job due to start April
There will also be the Shutdown season going up and the shell Brent Delta decommissioning project's coming up in
As yous will know there will be plenty of work for any one who gets the call you may have to do a bit of jockeying a bout to get your self Established with the company's that gives you a kick in if you get offered a trip and that means 2 weeks work then if you are in a job on the beach then to not jack the job on the beach jump on the sick or take leave off absents due to family problems, and take the trip and see what happens to you get on the right path for the rest of the year.
If their there any other Offshore Scaffs out there then pleas add or change these dates and Jobs
As yous will know by the resent news on the Heli copters in the north sea there is a lack of transport to ferry the troops out there but by April there will be new S92 Heli copters so it will be all systems go for the Scaffs as they are the back bone of these jobs and will be first up to get these jobs that's when you may have to to a bit of jockeying about..
All the best for now troops and do not give up the fight if you have not been offshore yet your day is coming

the barge on the andrew borg dolphin is away end of january and cali is taken its place this is staying most of the year and not going to the magnus till next year

Surprisingly not heard f.uck all back Danny boy, this offshore cracks a nightmare at the moment. I heard cape had a **** load of men in the adhoc pool when I phoned on Friday so I dunno if these guys will get transferred or what? There were rumours it was for the Dutch sector so dunno wot the crack wud is? Hopefully someone on here can shed some light on the situation. Good luck pal
 
Plenty of conflicting opinions on this thread but what woul you lads think my chances would be of getting off? I'm doing my survival in April and do know a couple of people who could help me get my first trip but I'm working at the minute (all be it on a **** whole) and wouldn't be keen jacking it in for a couple of trips.
