offshore work??

HI Jmo,

Well obviously there are people within my office they wont know as much as myself and i believe the person you spoke to was my colleague natalie who has only worked for MAne for a couple of weeks so she is still learning the ropes so to speak. I have only been on the job for 1 day now so 25 out of 300 isn't bad going as i manage alot more than just this one account so i have to manage my time accordingly.

With regards the work for salamis if it every runs out please do not hesitate to contact me and ill be happy to find you more work offshore. Also its not hard to know what a MIST is and a vantage card as these at standard cards needed to work offshore so most people who recruit for offshore positions will of heard of them.

Take care

Hi Jmo,

This is not my first scaffolding contract, and i have qualified exactly what my contractor needs and wants. With regards interest i have managed to find over 25 with these tickets but i have a requirment for up to 300 as they are building a new platform from scratch.

I understand you dont have the relevant tickets, but if i am looking for a standard scaffolder in the near future i will keep you in mind.

You will find the others but you may have to look on other forums. This forum is generally populated by standard scaffolders.
Lots of specialist scaffolders have done IRATA courses and lots of rope access technicians have done scaffolding courses. In fact we used to do it with the bosuns chairs and rope cradles years ago but that is not in the course anymore.
Its a lot trickier sorting out all those tangly ropes than doing up a few nuts and bolts.

In 10 year off shore and 13 scaffolding I have never heard of a job looking for 300 scaffs with rope access tickets......

someone with IRATA level 3/4 is more likely to be supervising rope guys not wearing a scaff belt , but good luck...

is this burnspw all over again , does someone want scaffs to do irata training:blink:

Av just finished ma part 2 training now m8 and av done ma survival. Play the waiting game & al get my assessment done asap. Yes m8 its cape thats in the gannet

Have spanner....you're really good at pointing out the obvious :)) you must be a foreman :)

Do you sometimes look out that old white hard hat, go to the garage and tell the paint pits how to put a job up the wrong way?? :))

You know the paint pits will just erect it their own way when you leave :)) it's ok tho cos you can take credit it for it in the office :))
