intrinsically safe phones was the order of the day when i was last on a petrochem site 2 years ago with Garry Adams ;)
totally agree with the family affairs not for the forum anything else is fair play.
the phone scenario if it was a phone that took it it may have been somecant on the site who had a permit to take photos as when i loaded one on the new empire state thread in photos.which broke all safety rules.
yes its a case of pot and kettle but thats me all over a scaff and a smug cant at that ;)

The real reason for no mobiles on a petro-chem is so you can't take photos.

why has this forum turned into face book ,where people turn into bully's ,opinions are like ar.se holes everyone has one .
J crack on pal.and as for me i am the biggest c.ock out there:D:D:D

its not the only reason though, and any photos that have to be taken need a permit with a risk assessment regarding the flash IE source of ignition ;)

I realise that but there are many things that they would not want photographed.

mobile phones 15 yrs ago did not have camera,s on them..meaning they did not have a lens, they are not allowed because they are explosive,If you want to use a camera you can also get a explosive free camera fitted with the correct lens
