Just out of curiousity, which is the best firm you have worked for past or present?mine was BCM here in London about 14-15 years ago, never pushed you to get the job done, was more interested in it being done safely and never worked later than 2.30 in the afternoon, don't get jobs like that anymore.

bcm good firm still going from south london - for me you wont beat leguards saddly not about anymore

Have enjoyed all the firms I have worked for - Except Swift (Brickies in disguise)

Benchmark bar none worked for all the big ones but they had the best scaffolders, earned pukka money good work too, this was in 2006/7 at bishopsgate job

SGB in their prime were the best going, brilliant company then it all went downhill and became known as ARSCO

Always amused me how so many SGB men did nothing but slag them off when they were working for them. Once they left they spoke of the firm as if it was some kind of Valhalla where they were fed ambrosia and wanked off by nubile maidens all day.

M:eek:aybe the sidelines that most had going had something to do with it fred

I am lucky to end up quite highly qualified after 30 odd years in the scaffold industry.
I have worked for many companies but have only received training from SGB and Harsco twenty years apart

Globes from S/London where good if you grafted they looked after you , Anglewest in the 80s where a Great firm earned some top money on there , and i always earned well on Trads the times i was on there.
