Best firm you have worked for

we were comin to the end of the job lift shafts i think george rings a bell little fella with glasses
 
ProPlant Scaffolding years ago on the second part of the 'Canary Wharf'/Docklands development.
Best job ive ever been on... me and my brother OWNED that job and earned a few quid too.

Though my current job, if it continues being this good, is easily up there with the best. ;)
 
You mean he's moved to the dark side, but still does what he's payed to do?

Exactly.

When i was a Scaffolder, i was paid to Scaffold, which i did... unlike alot of blokes i worked with, whom used to walkabout with a belt and harness, without doing much actual Scaffolding.
I actually did my job.

Now, im a Supervisor, amazingly enough, im doing my job... which again im actually paid to do.

Crazy huh?
What ever will be next??? a Postman delivering letters?? or worse still a teacher teaching kids how to read and write?? madness... :rolleyes:
 
Its madness. If people like you start turning up and actually do the job you are paid to do what will happen to all those who get paid for not doing the job they are paid to do?

It's amazing how many people get abused for doing their jobs. If you have a go at some one for doing nothing your an arse kissing brown nose! The worlds going crazy.

What makes me laugh is that i would bet a weeks wages, no... id GUARANTEE that the knob heads here giving me grief would sell their own back teeth to be where i am now.

In fact, they would be 10,000 times worse and do pretty much anything to keep their job here.
I'm not... I'm just doing what I'm paid to do.

It's the way of the world mate, if it was their firm they would be looking at it a different way that's for sure.

I for one would not give my front, back or side teeth to be where you are now.
But good luck Jason. Put in the hard yards north of the border and things can only get better.
