Once you have completed the course you can come on here and make yourself look a complete cu,t like couple of weeks a go. Most course that i have see at Erith have been full of Easten European who have found a way of cheating the system. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
1) A 5 day course does not make you a scaffolding supervisor.
2) The end of course test is a joke,no one fails.
3) The course enable anyone to run a job that knows fu.k all about scaffolding and we call this health and safety.
4) I have refused to take this course due to how strongly i feel regards entry level min advance 5 years.
Couldnt agree more, 'How to be a scaffolding expert in 5 easy lessons'.35 years in the the game which i love and work hard to get where i am. and someone can do a 5 day course and think there are a god is complete bollo.ks.

Still it would be a handy ticket to have I suppose.

Thats the problem with the old school of thought.....its now qualifications 1st & experiance 2nd
ha ha ha ha...you should b in a class room!!!! dictateing to all us underachievers!!!:notrust:True. Im absolutely useless, but i get on through sheer ticket-ability.
I know what you mean though, but... it is possible to do something for 20+ years and still be wrong.
Personally, i think, a mix of both experience AND qualifications cant really be beat.
They dont quite cover enough practical work on these courses and seem to worry a bit too much about teaching legislation and regulation, when no one ever remembers those things after.
I know i cant... but i can still remember why a fitting goes where its supposed to.
