Where's Ragscaff, Paddy and AOM.

Sorry bubba, there is so much going on I never really noticed the SG4 comments. What way were they heading? I personally have posted many times that whilst a bit dubious at first we have found it very helpful and the boys are actually starting to report some jobs going up quicker, especially the young team who may lack a bit of confidence when working at height. I haven't had my copy through the post yet but I am looking forward to getting it.

cassie dont think anybody has defended the remark,i think its the nature of the attack on the sccr.which for what i can see cannot be held accountable for one mans comments.
 
It seems we have a few people on here that are going to try and bring the SCCR down at every chance. It would be interesting to know which company they are representing but I'd hazard a guess they'll want to hide and stay anonymous.
 
ian its looking like that same people diffrent monikers,be a better debate if all cards were on table mate,or maybe am paranoid??

I would just like to point out that the integrity of the SCCR has been called in to question tonight, which is the right of all users of this forum. I have personal feelings in this matter to which I shall refer to later. Firstly I would just like to say, what ever I post on this forum is my opinion gleaned from life in the industry from which I earn my daily bread. The fact I have the SCCR avatar is by no means any reflection of policy or opinion of others, it just means as well as a proud NASC member company who advises me on how to comply with all current regulation I am also a proud member of the SCCR which will help me look after the men who rely on me to supply them with an opportunity to earn their daily bread.(and it looks cool)

The SCCR is for all, if you are not happy and think you could improve or even just have a suggestion please feel free to get in touch with any of the members. There is a couple of places available on the committee as yet unfilled, if you want to contribute and help improve your industry get in touch with Ragscaff now.

So far Ragscaff initiated contact with the hse to get the ball rolling, his reports of that meeting are posted in the scaffolders study pages for all to view. This was done at his own expense. The next meeting recently was held in birmingham and attended by Ragscaff, Steve Gregory and myself, again all at our own expense. The main reason the SCCR was founded was when it came to light the ECITB issue was alive and kicking and men were being forced to re-train from scratch which most but not all felt was a bit strong and despite the fact that this did not affect any committee member direct they decided to try and help our fellow scaffs. Ragscaff could fill you all in regarding personal expense to date but it would bore you to tears but it does beg one question, does this sound like the type of guys looking to feather their own nest?
 
phew thanks for that brandy,thought a was on one for a while,maybe they percive the forum or the sccr as a threat??

Well al i can say is there has a been a bunch of people that seems to be having a direct go at Steve whatever he posts or says.Some post might be said in the wrong way then again it might not of been.Im not sticking up for anyone here,what i would like to add is that this same group off people have kept having a go at the SCCR which i would like to add im not a member of.Its now gone to a member of Scaffolders Forum leaving this site which is now bringing Scaffolders Forum in to distripute.If this is down to two companys selling a product on here it should be done in a proper manner.I would like to say im glad nobody is selling my product on here,word of mouth and the internet seems to be the best way of advertising and the SCCR and Scaffolders Forum have just had bad press.Have a go at the individual but not at SCAFFOLDERS FORUM.

I'm glad that others have noticed it double arm. It seems they have a little clique that are detirmined to bully members off of here. I wonder who their next target will be.

That i dont know Ian but if its two companys going back at each other its not good for us or SCAFFOLDERS FORUM,there must be ground rules for bringing Scaffolders Forum in to distripute.The posts need to be deleated or something and get the Forum back to normal again.That to me seems the easiest thing to do you dont see DSL,CAPES and others doing it as they do there buisness in a PROFESSIONAL manner
 
Am sorry but I don't agree would you say sombody who is repesenting The Sccr making a comment on here about doing training over a weekend so you don't have to pay your workforce is professional ???? I know I don't !!
 
Mental toughness Double Arm, once you can see through it, it won't bother ya, sticks and stones come to mind.
 
Ok I admit I was wrong for putting not paying the lads so on that I appologise.. now it does seem to me at the end of the day this industry is all about training. I was sent some info regarding training and I posted it on here for you all.

wether you have the training or not is up to you.

So I will be posting regardless on this forum as the members have the right to know what is available, Just a shame that there is a few other members who want to shoot the messenger and dis-credit everyone, Looks like its my month but the thing is I dont hide and I will continue to offer advice to any member of the forum whoever needs it.

As for the SCCR if any member feels they would like me to stand down please feel free to contact Ragscaff.
 
What the problem is Steve has made a post that people dont agree with it,what does this have to do with SCCR or SCAFOLDERS FORUM..When people are talking about leaving SCAFFOLDERS FORUM thats not good.We are going back to the same thing again you can slate what Steve say,s but leave SCCR out of it.Its bad press and its not good for SCCR or SCAFFOLDERS FORUM,we are trying to spread good about the Forum and not see posts like we have been seeing.
 
To be honest we all post stupid things every now and then (apart from me eh?) and then regret it afterwards. Sometimes sh1t is stirred up and sometimes it ain't. I honestly cannot see what the big deal is, it was obviously a comment made in error and Steve has apologised over the said comment. As for people saying they are leaving the forum because of it, well see you later then. We are all adults and this is an internet forum. If you want to act like you are 13 then take your ball home.
 
In my experience, when scaffolders have too much time on their hands, they tend to get up to no-good..... (I WISH THIS SNOW WOULD BEAT IT) so roll on better weather and we can all get out and put a full week in...
