walkout on lucite billingham

I've never taken a job without finding out what I'm getting paid, how long has the job been going and how long were the boys there that got escorted off site?
 
Lads had been there 4weeks job is a mataince site everyone was under the impression it was blue bookthe lads that spoke up were down the road so union has got involved an we commence from there
 
So no one from Hertel said it was blue book, and the lads who got sacked are still on their probationary period?
 
Just out probationary period the shop steward is doing well sorting out everything union is on our side
 
Have you had a contract of employment from Hertel and what does it say you will be paid?
 
you should be okay if you walked out!!!! lets be honnest the unions ante worth a wonker unless theres a strike on the horizon!!!!
 
Not that I know of swifty just a load of forms you were told to sign
 
Then one of those forms is probably your contract of employment, do you still have them?
 
were getting away from main issue here . men have lost jobs the most important thing is getting them reinstated . and then address other problems . we just want to bring this to the attention of a wider audience. hopefully get some support off fellow scaffs.
 
I thought the main issue was if it was a blue book site or not.
 
lads reinstated first then negotiate blue book rate... are you trying to confuse issues or make mischief. maybe your management?

I believe hes trying to resolve the issue...
 
mens jobs must take priority. that is why we have walked..that is why we are there sat /sun or as long as it takes, men back then negotiate .
 
Best o luck with it all fella and to the lads that got marched off site if they do get back on it'll be interesting indeed to see how it all goes !!
