Don't know about full holiday but bank holidays work out to 49 a day
 
Think thats a old school split hours rate then - basic contacted 39hrs a wk on min wage with the remainder of ur dayrate built up with a traveling & Producivity allowance
 
Never work for Trads again.A bloke called Lee Jarvis on T2a.Hasn,t got a clue rips hours every week,and when you go to question it,he turns his back on you.Good management eh?The pay system beggars belief if you,re on the cards,( which I wasn,t )How can a scaffolding firm pay £3.65 an hour and have the lads down as doing 400 hours a week,if you,re lucky.That,s less than minimum wage.I must be missing something,so by all means put me right.
 
That was how most firm priced their jobs years ago in London X amount of hours to erect and X amount to strike , and it was all based on the union rate at the time, 30 hours a day used to be a decent days wages , and overtime used to be at a 4-1 rate .

We used to do most of our target jobs based on hours , a job might be worth 200 hours to erect so 2 handed if you knocked it out in 2 days you where earning top money .
 
So what you're saying is, if he gets £116/day then he's probably only worth that?
 
never heard so much sh.t in all my life trad are wa.nk,only cos your in office know van boy your siding with trad,i meet adian smith years ago when fcuking idiot knocked my money,ok adian gave me the money stra8 out his pocket there and then,not the point,still knockers always will be,and as for price work and knocking it out,you cant do that fcuking anymore cos SG4.10 and TG20 so fcuked there aswell.

as for holiday pay its as same as your rate no less no more if company is good you"ll get same.if wa.nkers you"ll get something much different

It was nearly all the street firms in London that payed target work that way Stephen, they calculated every job in X amount of man hours up and down , thats not to say that a lot of them didn't tried to nick hours of you , the usual excuse was there was not enough hours left when it came to striking , but it is up to every man to make his agreement on hours before he started any job.
I worked for Trads a few times and always got what hours i was told where on a job , try working for DR on target they would think nothing of paying lads 8-12 hours a day and you could wait until 10 o clock for a trailer to turn up and not get a penny for waiting.
