Only in a Country with as weak a backbone as Britain at the moment could a tory MP say we shouldnt pay cash in hand as its Morally wrong !!!!!

If tory tw@ts mates and i mean labour libdem as they are all the same got their mates to pay their taxes and not relax the laws so their future employers can rip our money and gamble with it legally, would we be in this mess in the first place

The French and other countries would be rioting in the streets over this yet watch "Great" Britain just take it up the ar5e once more

The Apathy in this country makes me so ashamed sometimes

o and this does affect our industry massively, its not a political point, how many jobs have people gained from dropping the quote for cash, and if they come after that its another nail in the coffin,,,,,might not be legal but its real world !

Did you see the ministers face when Paxman asked him if he had ever paid a tradesman cash. There is a saying that you can't watch a liar but he proved that wrong.

I suppose the thing to remember is the cash economy is what helped put Greece in the toilet.

its the cash economy that keeps a country going in times of recession aom,

just seen Roy Ramm the former head of the flying squad on tv representing the gambling industry pushing for more casinos etc......

what the fook is going on ,am i in a python sketch ,britain is just taking anything pushed down its throat:blink:

paxman is an absolute legend, chris hitchens is my favourite debaters of all time but ive been watching galloways speeches lately, and no matter what you think of his politics the appearence in front of the US senate over iraq was one of the greatest performances of an mp since churchill ;)

So did his performance with Saddam and brought the word "indefacatability" to a whole new audience. (I can't even spell it.)

Your not going to believe this Joe but I don't agree about the cash economy keeping the country going at any time least of all in a recession. I am a labour supporting liberal voter but will admit to having a bit of hope when the tories came to power of a reduction of the social spongers fit and able to work but quite happy to soak up the tax money on housing benefits and family credit. No sign of it round here and I assume it's the same country wide. I believe it's the millions of hard working tax paying individuals that keep a country going in a recession, admittedly it only takes a few miserable bankers to cripple it.

what the spongers have taken over the last ten years is less than 1% of what the Bankers/MP's took off us in a day,

Immigrants and Benefit cheats is just a smokescreen mate, look at the numbers,

the money lost on both immigrants and benefit cheats could be paid back in a day if the top 5 % of this country paid 20% tax like you and I,40 and 50% tax is for the middle classes ,the top 5% have it all offshore or hidden in non profits like NASC lol, maybe should have put this in the pub forum, dont want to get shouted at again

read the background to galloways meeting with saddam,he was their to exchange food for oil for the kids of iraq, that maniac had to have his arse licked in order to get anywhere, and galloway got on his knees and begged for the kids of iraq mate, the blokes been campaigning for 40 years on such issues hes a fascinating and principled bloke!

Yeah, don't know the exact figures and agree the banking system got us into a mess but they tell me they are the people who will get us out as well, in the mean time the tax paying public will carry the burden as usual.

As for gorgeous George, I don't dislike him just wouldn't entirely trust him.

My hope was, as the money from the tax payer dried up the tories would have squeezed the spongers first. Take all the young fit lazy drug using wasters who have never worked a day in their life out the new super insulated homes and maybe give them to a young working family or even a pensioner.

couldnt agree more on this one with joe,an MP calling anyone morally corrupt is a fecking joke. The fact hes a tory is an even bigger joke.
What about vodafone being let off something near a billion,oh i forgot thats just big business poaching the ex director of the hmrc as their tax advisor to screw all of us.
at least the plumber, painter,or even scaffolder doing the job for cash will spend the cash in this country unless of course hes one of our european friends(or elsewhere)then of course it will be sent to the fatherland along with the child tax credits for the children who have never been in this country.

as for galloway he is a great politician of that theres no doubt, like or dislike theres not really anyone in todays politics who could take him on in a debate

Did the minister reckon the treasury are loosing around 2 billion a year to this, I wonder if they ever added how much they lost on the expenses scandal.

I would never do a cash job as its immoral :laugh::laugh:

I dont care how they pay me can be in Rupees if they like , we work ourselves to death and the MPs just take the pi ss with their expenses , The Bankers all collude to keep the interest rates high and wont help any small business , in fact they are foreclosing on small firms that have spent years trying to get somewhere , fu cking arse holes the lot of them , so we should loose a small job because they wont get their cut i dont think so , customer wants it the customer can have it

The day an MP has subsidised my Drinking the same way i subsidise their bar in the houses of parliament is the day i feel were in safe hands ;)

sh1t the bed just realised your a liberal labour voter and you work for the dark side, you are most definately Darth Vader, your covers blown mate :)

until the rate of incometax returns to one penny in the pound i refuse to partisepate .

is this not the same conservative member, who purchased a home and claimed back the stamp duty via the tax payer? I beg to question.....

scary this, take cash out the picture, give everyone credit cards and let banks rule the world,,,,,fuk me thats already happened

why would you want to be paid cash anyway? cant get loans, mortgages or credit because on paper you dont have an income. i would always prefer to pay taxes and stamp. otherwise how does public sector get paid? and we would just end up like greece have... well and truley F*K*D

Yes It Is, Sorry To Say, George Is A Fantastic Orator Iv Heard Him Speak At Rallys Many Times And Really On His Day Would Tear Anybody A New ********. Really Top Class Speaker, Who Researches His Subjects, And Would Never Argue A Point If It Was Incorrect, He Is From The Same Part Of Dundee As Me, And I Can Honestly Say Iv Never Heard Him Tell A Deliberate Lie Or Untruth,He Speaks His Mind And Speaks The Truth, British Politics Would Be A Lot Poorer Without Him And People Like Dennis Skinner Who Are Commitment Politicians And Believe In There Manifesto, I Would Rather Have Ten George Galloways Than One David Cameron, (Just Call Me Dave And Hug A Hoodie) what In The Name Of God Is He On?
