hi guys the bloke im working with wants to know how to do a roof saddle.
ive told him about 20times to start with tubes up the roof but it just isnt sinking in. has anyone got a link to a site that explains it in black and white as im fed up with repeating myself
ive done a google search but with no luck

he wanted to throw into the roof then just chuck needles out the other side drop the standards on the roof

now i know a little trick that you can do with the toe board that gives this way amazing strength and you dont have to drop standards down but were on a refurb site where they want them done properly and i would like him to half know what todo before we get to them

Useless? - check.
Unwilling to think for himself? - check.
To ignorant to listen to advice? - check.
Cant put a simple Scaffold up properly? - check.

He sounds like Supervisor material, lol.

Cant you give him an 'early bath'?
Or as i call it - f.uck him off? ;)

see my point , if you are a useless cu nt get well in with the governor and he will make you the supervisor :)

Seen it to many times Jason , and their favorite line will be
"when i was on the tools " we did it this way , or i used to do 125 house fronts a day on prices work

if he was on price he would have to pay to go to work
sooo glad were on day rate

mind you i get a van and fuel card he uses his car and pays for his own petrol

That should be at the top of the list for Bull-shiit 'Supervisor' quotes:
"When i was on the tools"

F.uck it, im gonna make a thread up about it, lol.

best one i saw was a supervisor showing an advanced scaffolder how to do a putlog scaffold on a scrap of paper
someone had a sore ear at the end of it

Ian, surely that's an old link for a saddle? After me blowing smoke up your ass on the other thread, are they not all punched up from the ledger at gutter height now?:wondering:
