isnt it amazing that when you get older you start to slow down a little not a great deal but enough!!! 10, 15 years a go if you said that i would be in doors on a saturday night on a scaffolders forum i would of said never lol!! would of been out in the morning or after work new shirt new pants a new aftershave then 4,oclock in the bath for a hour shave then another bath in aftershave  then out the door for 6 and hit the town drink and look for a good bird or s!ag for the night then you get married and it all goes:laugh: your aftershave that cost you £50 pound cost you a fiver from tescos and your £60 shirt cost you £15 £20 pound good learning thou enjoy life why your young it creeps up quick. but your shirts and aftershave are cheaper:laugh:

All very true Dico but to be honest I prefer it this way to all that huffing and puffing. I must be really old.:(

iam happy married now!!! but jesus wernte they the good days

Yes they were, my weekend always started on a Thursday night. I parked my motor outside of work then went on the bevy. If I was lucky, there was always a party but if not I would stagger back to the car and hope someone would wake me up. Repeat, Sunday night and then suffer all week till Thursday came round again. How I kept my licence is another mystery.

I took that ONCE, came home out of me feckin tree smashed the house up
15 year old son kicked me out had to sleep on the front lawn, cost me a
feckin fortune putting the house right and trying to woo the missus for the next month, learnt me lesson there.

haha, nightmare, you sure it wasn't speed? I'm no expert and I am going back years but the good stuff never did anything like that to me. I do remember a lost weekend in Perth with the other stuff on a stag do and I wanted to take the whole lot of em on, they eventually left me still drinking on the Sunday and my Mrs had to come and get me. A 5 hour drive, she was not happy, I wasn't that happy myself for a couple of weeks.:embarrest:

Feck the gin drank a bottle of that on me 13th birthday, won it at a local fete back in them days, was in bed for over a week, and I dont want to upset aom but feck me what the feck is whiskey all about:D:

Why is it just before you say you don't want to upset someone, you go and upset someone. Saying you don't want to upset someone does not give you carte blanche to upset someone.;)

The whisky (no e) is an acquired taste for sure but once you get it, there is very little like it. You usually find, people who don't like it are doing it wrong. Despite popular belief, a chunk of ice is required to release the full flavour, not all are to be drunk neat.;)

Tell you what the next Saturday night I am out I will try a tot with the ice, yes i have done it wrong;)
Still didnt mean to upset you though,

whiskys like marmite you either love it or hate it lol!! mind you gin and vodkas the same you cant taste nothing through the orange juice and tonic larger and cider for me

You won't if you try a good one next time you are out. Anything from the West Coast should be a good starter for 10, Auchentoshan is fairly mild but nice with a quiet beer.
