Part 1 no experience!

I haven't received any requests for this thread to be deleted, but if all parties are agreed it is the best thing to do, then I am happy to do it.

I've tried contacting you but I'm no whiz with the Internet so I probably did something wrong lol. I agree as it makes us all look bad, the topic as got out of hand and it doesn't look good for anyone

I disagree there's some good advice on here. You made a rod for your on back on comments to lads I don't look bad nor do other ppl perhaps you should take reasponsibilty for your actions fella it will go along way.....
 
Some people got the wrong end of the stick but a certain few I haven't got time for, like I said I can accept criticism but some people took it too far and I bit. Doesn't bother me in the slightest tbh. I just think the topic as been ruined by the 20 pages of wise cracks and name calling. I've worked with people before who have years of experience but are useless and lazy, so I don't believe all the hype. I'd rather work with hard workers who push me along than know it all but do feck all
 
There's some really good scaffs on here who you've bit at fella who would help you along the way.... Look at info on profiles before having ago at them some have 30 yrs plus in scaffolding me I'm 13 yrs and I'm leaning new trick off the old school scaffs you have to show reaspect to them.... As they know what there talking about honest let this thread die its death just read what being put know one knows your real name so don't worry about job prospects just chill. And good luck in scaffolding as its getting bad for the job front now.....

That's the thing I don't know anyone on here and they don't know me so to all the grafters outhere I apologise and hopefully we will meet one day. Cheers lads
 
yeah most scaffs like the agro but really whats the point???this forum is not ment to be for slagging ppl off....... its ment to be used as a tool to find work advice find old pals etc etc.....
try whatch jezza on telly instead of useing this forum to btich all the time.

I stand by what I've posted , make no apologies and wish the thread to be saved for prosperity.
 
I don't think it should be deleted.
Anyone that's read it will remember who you are anyway as soon as your name pops up.
I certainly don't look bad and don't think any of the other lads do either tbh. Fact is it's not good to start calling experienced lads, it won't endear you to anyone.
People are not happy that the system that's in place seems to have gone out the window, there has been some very good advice given from good lads.
Best thing to do mate is delete your profile and set up a new one under a different name.
Downplay your skills, don't big yourself up mate as Aom says then ppl will be pleased and not disappointed. Part 1's are expected to know what the basics are. A good labourer doesn't have to be asked for gear, they have it ready to go because they know what's needed and it's in your hand. I don't doubt your a grafter pal

Good luck, you will get a start somewhere, ring round all the local firms for a labouring job. You should find something pretty quick, or even a yard lad with a view to getting out with a squad
 
If you're not bothered about the criticism wass then why do you want it deleted? Lots of valuable advice hidden away in here, i think it should stay!
 
I don't give a **** how long someones been doing any job... if they want respect, then show some and if your a cun.t your a cu.nt and get no respect from me.. even if you've been scaffolding 60 fukin years.
 
That's right mate if people show respect they get it back. Manners don't cost anything
