)Seriously this needs deleting, the last 10+ pages make us all like argumentative idiots. I haven't joined this site to argue the toss about scaffolding politics. I've done my part 1 so there's no turning back, I'm looking for a job and as soon as I find one im off this place. There's a few lads on here who I seem to get on with so if anybody hears of anything I will be grateful. Cheers

Fair comment wass good luck finding a job and the best advice I can offer you is listen and learn from the blokes your working with this isn't a dig but you can't best experience

No I believe it. I'm not wanting to be a referee or anything but one thing I would say is you have to be aware of the sheer amount of people viewing and even monitoring these things. Podger is a gent who would help anyone and a wee bit gently gently could gain you invaluable contacts. Every time I hear Barnsley I think of the one firm who came up here we worked for and had the biggest toe to toe with day 1 and within a couple of days were good friends with them and they were absolute gents.
You will get a kick in soon enough but what usually works is to underplay your skills then blow them away. I do it every day, tell the client it will take a week to erect then do it in the planned 3 day's anyway and they think I'm a hero just for doing my job.

Listen div instead of sitting on here all day go round sites or yellow pages tell the your a labourer with spanners you might just get a job!
