Cheers Joe but to be truthful i earned double on the tools if it was about money i wouldnt of took the job.
It may seem that i have made a couple of mistakes in my short period of doing this however how many scaffolders do you know are doing what im doing ive worked through the ranks scaffolding from labourer to contract manager im not perfect just trying a different role in the scaffolding world.

Ok then, so cozzie and dom,as ex scaffs turned to the darkside,you say the client sets the rates. How is this when you get a call asking for men.
Do they say. I need 2 advanced scaffs but im only paying £15 ph.
Or do you say. Ok ill send you 2 top blokes,this will cost you £30ph.?
How does this work? Do they negotiate you down when they need a specialist. Ex scaffs looking after mens interests,when you know full well everyones paid there own way and are selfemployed. Buy and bring their own kit no travel ex's benefits etc. Years and years of hard graft and experience for a pittance.Your all aload of fukin shysters screwing with peoples lives. Why not send the no experience newbies straight outta courses to them. Cos you know youll get a bad rep and no more phone calls

Well, whatever Fred. Point is its specialised work, Cozzie knows this. Perhaps Dom needs to work on a few high rises to understand the true value. Yes I know were still in recession,and everyone should be on hands and knees saying thanks for the job opp. But ffs, everyones had enough of others earning off their backs.
 
Cozzy says its the clients (scaffold companies ) who set the value. I respect Dom far more as he has always made it clear he is a recruiter and not tried to make out he is only in his business to help scaffolders. Besides having seen that photo of him on a horse that's probably as high as he should be allowed to go. He looked nowhere near as elegant and poised as that other well known forum equestrian.
