I'd love to give DSL a go and we have a local branch. The problem is I have a 4 leg Layher stair tower on hire from them ,7m high landing top and bottom. Its going to be on hire for 6 months so I thought I'd ask if they would sell it to me. Its already been up for 4 months.Its a bit battered and one of the landings has a hole in it, also they sent out 3x 1.8 ledgers instead of 1.2m ledgers and various other bits they didn't fit .They quoted me £3500 to buy it !

I've just had a quote from Layher in Letchworth for a new one £3250.

If this is their idea of trying to win new customers, its not working.

last scaffom flyer I had was 88p
but they are doing a deal on hire 1p ft/wk
they also hire/sale their own version of layher stair (but not 1.5m flights!)

Last time I bought any kit it was 44p a foot...we just sold some to trad for 60 odd pence a foot...only real money I've ever made outa this game...

Previously from a steel firm so I recognize certain grades, is the grade stated sufficient for scaffold tube, I am fairly sure that the 3.2mm should be S355GP but am not sure about the 4mm??? Anyone clarify this????
