Kwikstage

That's because it's *****!!
PM me I your mail address may be able to help

That's a very negative comment by you Mr Reade. Please enlighten us as to why in your opinion it is s h I t e as I assume that is what you called it.

If it is s h I t e then what is the best alternative?

If it is that bad why is it still used on a worldwide basis? Surely it must have something good about it to have lasted so long in the market.

To the guy who requested the info have you thought about contacting RMD Kwikform for this information?

You've obviously not used kwikstage anonymous.
There's plenty of Chinese manufacturers with UK and Australian outlets selling Kwikstage on Linkedin Fred, contact one of them.

Yes I did contact RMD but no reply from them.

In my opinion Kwikstage was a good formwork modular scaffold. It just hasn't evolved like the other systems.

Both cuplock and layher are better alternatives but the reason few still use kwikstage is because it's cheaper and has less components

Kwikstage is hard to beat for certain jobs like house bashing. It's cheap and easy to work with

and there are some very good Kwikstage Scaffolders out there I have seen some Scaffolders Struggle with Setting out With it so Swings And Roundabouts mate

It's total garbage and unsafe so yes the scrapyard is the best place for every single piece of the *****.....

Sorry Boys, I Have To Disagree, Kwikstage Does What It Says On The Tin Chaps Its A Good System Scaffold And I Have Used Most Of Them, Its Maybe Not As Versatile As Tube But What Is? It Is Horses For Courses I Have Worked With Blokes That Are Fabulous Tube Scaffolders But Any System And They Are Fekked, I Have Also Seen It The Other Way.Kwikstage Does What Its Meant To Do And Its Reasonably Easy To Use So As For Me Yes Keep It Coming (If Anyone Has Any That They Are Giving Away For Diddly Squat I Will Take It)

I totally respect your opinion Ger and I know you don't talk ****.

But it all should have been weighed in by now ffs it's 2015

Staggering the standards is a relatively knew addition to the users guide.
It was never in the users manuals twenty odd years ago but I think it is now.
Probably to stay one of the NASC approved systems.
To answer the question I doubt if many do even interserve only send out 3m for their jobs in glasgow.
I hate the stuff but it's probably due to my lack of luck in the job market when end up hitting it in the pissing rain;)

A certain Mr O'May was telling me that, in accordance with modern kwikstage guidance, EVERY set of standards must be tied. Never seen one in Glasgow yet tied like that.
Whilst we're on the subject, the aforementioned Mr May also told me that the Hilti M16 Drop-in anchor that has been used up here by countless firms with the ring bolt and butt/check arrangement for years, can only be used in concrete! Glasgow's famous sandstone tenements are riddled with these anchors!

Stone Thats True About The Standards Mate And Both Legs Must Be Caught, Not Just The Inside Leg With A Butt, The Bracing Pattern Has Changed Its Not To Be Dog Legged Anymore,But You Have To Chase The Brace With The Bottom Wedge Below The Last Pressing On The Previous Brace.
