Don't think they invented them jason. They just couldn't master the art of sewing so couldnt make a nice pair of trews. Thats why their part 2 is easier than ours and also why they have cold knees.

Apparently if you turn up in kilt ,with your face painted blue and drinking a can of Irn Bru you are a shoo in for your part 2
