British jobs for British workers... What if Australia or new Zealand started pulling that one? It should just be harder and more strict for them to come and benefits shouldn't be given out to every tom **** n harry

The Next Generation Of Immigrants (The Children Of The Present Generation) Are The True Test, Whether They Think That To Get There Hands Dirty Or That Manual Work Is Beneath Them, That Will Be The True Test Of Character.

I recently read a piece of research on the development of immigrant generations and the main findings were:

1. First generation tends to find low paid, manual work. Realisation that hard work is rewarded with higher income, leading to a standard of living much higher than possible in country of origin. Good work ethic.
2. Parents tend to push second generation toward the academic route with a focus on professional occupations e.g. Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants. Good worth ethic is expected and rewarded with an even higher standard of living.
3. Third generation tends to lack drive due to having everything they have needed since birth. Lower work ethic.
