Hi Mike and welcome to the forum.

Paid the same sort of money you ask. The answer seems to be NO.

Find a job now : Directgov - Employment

Click "search for a job". Put in a location (eg Bristol) and for the job title fields put in 8211 for HGV jobs and 8141 for scaffolding jobs.

Pay rates seem at at least 50% higher, though there are fewer jobs available. Trucking is an area where people go into and out of.

What both jobs have in common are that they are services that are essential and none of the people in either sector have caused the economic situation...
... but is affected by it :sad:
