One word of advice...never wait for a phone call. Ring then once every week or two as this will show a pro-active attitude which is a major requirement in this game. :D good luck with the job hunt

Curt if you aint blessed with Nepotism (rife in the Scaff game, Fantastic when your mate has got the shout!!! ***** when you are at the back of the cue!!!) but regardless of that, perseverance will alwalys open a door, am sure most SF regulars will second that, and that door could, be by meeting new buddy's who by a simple conversation can open an even bigger & better door, I think thats why we bother?? the golden egg / ticket / with job a an knock on double time, could only be a phone call / or chance meeting away?;)

I am now in a management position and on the sick, Camaraderie is a word that no other trade can assosiate with, how many plumbers / or sparkies forums are out there, the best buzz in scaffolding is being able to pass on your knowledge to a young spunka who wants to learn, because a lot forget that if certain individuals / mentors had never done that with us / them, there would be no SF, wait for it COS (Minefield) the industry is not a recognised trade allbeit very highly SKILLED) SCAFFS breed scaffs not training establishments like, NASC, CISRS they just tax us.:embarrest:
