Seems to me he was a bit of a chancer regards scaffolding, lack of confidence in himself, could'nt trust himself so would'nt trust anyone else. A half decent scaffolder could make a judgement on simple things like that, Perhaps someone in higher authority saw through him, seen it happen. Has he got a name apart from the obvious.?
