The contact details for palmers are no good mate, they will only forward you to a company called tech source and they have told me that palmers are not taking on at the moment.

Paul, I was offered a job with them a couple of weeks ago but knocked it back once I asked a few questions and found out what the money was like.

Unless they are 100% offering you PTS work, I'd steer well clear. It's also worth taking into account travelling costs, a lad I'm working beside now was paying over £90/week in train fares to get there cause there is no parking nearby.
 
The new cross link work is about to start this month, once the tunnel has start then there will be scaffold required inside for ducting cables etc will find out more when I get home the old man is down there.
 
am in edinburgh anyway bundy but, with regards to the start at waverley am not going to hold my breath mate.

It's only the night shift that do pts, if ur traveling from Glasgow u get 15 a day traveling money

Paul how u get on with that isl, paisley job?
 
When a worked there it was through that tec source agency mate, u would need to try them

Might be wrong but think they might be only using agency boys just now cause there gona need somewhere to put the boys from the forth rail bridge if they finish up in xmas, was only 5 full time out of 20+ men on the waverley when a was there
 
there is only a few agy scaffs on the waverly. its mainly labourers with pts they were after. a left about 3 weeks ago and there was only 2 scaffs and 15 labourers through tec source. day shift is classed as high street enviroment work so u just need cscs.
night shift is pts work. somtimes day shift get pts work at the weekend . good agy to work for.

hows life at the bridge streachy ???

strechy, with regards to ils i sent ma cv away to the. and as of yet got nowt back yet. sent it also as a matter of urgency to darren maratty at ils but not heard yet so will wait and see mate

good to here ure doing well mate, is gary and john still there if so tell them i said hi.
The moss is brand new mate plenty of work to do up there but you seem to be sitting about a lot waiting on permits. Hopefully get a good run at it.
Probably see you at a job sometime in the future, aw the best mate.
 
Gary an john are there, I'll tell them you were asking for them, expect to finish up between Sept - xmas unless a can get back on waverley or the tay so keep me posted if you hear of anything, all the best mate.

Paul hopefully you can get something sorted with isl, my mate was saying his mate got started there last week, am on the forth bridge with palmers at the moment mate
 
sorry paul got your cv, but got quite a few glasgow lads out of work, i thought you were from glasgow, put you on list for waverly if we win job, still not decided yet
