HI Lads how are we all theres alot of talk atm about the Sullom voe contract in the shetlands but iv done some digging and TBH i cant really seem to get any straight answers got told BIS had it then told by them no they dont then told today MCDONALDS have it and they too have denided any knowledge of it does any1 know who has it what there paying and if its 3 and 1 or 2 and 2 thanks lads

Would think salamis would be favorites to get the
The job . And have heard the rota is going to be
20 days on 8 off .. A few lads I work with out here are
On about trying to jump ship when it's does kick off
 
salamis have the job but maybe do the recruiting through their agency,it will be 3 and 1,8days off inbetween.
 
it will be 3 n 1 but salamis do not have the job,it still hasent been awarded as yet,tho i also think there in a good position to get it ;)
 
3 and 1 wudnt bother me but maybe it shoud be an opinion as iv heard you can only do 6 trips a yr not sure about whats the norms on these types of contracts where the weather is gonna play such a part on whats done
 
So what happens 4 the rest of the year 4 work? Cos if it's 3 an 1 an u only get 6 trips that's 6 months work!
 
Think pikey is right in that the scaffolding contact as not yet been awarded as A pal was the safety officer up there for capes and got him to ring a few people up there to see what was happening he got told that the contact as not been given out yet
 
once again james im not sure these are just the things iv heard from my m8 who is a safety man for rgb and i suppose we will all just be kept guessing until its in black and white
 
Bis told me they had the contract and they would let me know when it was starting, he said he was going over there and he would know when he returned, then he said they were only taking on local guy's what a loed of sh...
