I suspect the 'free breakfast' is a couple of slices of cold toast and a lukewarm tea or coffee provided with the accomodation - Although I have no experience in staying in digs, I am reliably informed that these events usually take place half an hour or so after the lads need to leave in the morning for work...

£130.00 aday is not bad in this climate.
personally I'm travellng 1hour in a morning to do a 10 hr shift then going home and not getting quite that much ( NO DIGS )(no free breakfast )

im not sure am getting this one just be greatful???isnt it us that get up at 5am us that do the work us that take the aches and pains home pmsl just be greatful.....no just pay the going rate.in london the rates generally £15 an hour start off so a ten hour day should be £150s so your digs are being deducted in reality id say....theres no such thing as a free breakfast good post johnny.

id be be happy with fuckin 9 quid an hour just now , i said on another post recently that probably 70% of the guys in england on the tools wouldnt work for the moeny they'd be paid in scotland.

graveyard shift for £9 per hr....did you not go on your course today Jb?
 
one of the instructors posted last night that the college was shut today , i knew when booking that it was gonna be 9 days because of a holiday , i assumed the holiday was yesterday when in fact it was today , a bit gutted i could have went yesterday and tried to get on it , but now ive missed the first day , so i'll need to go somewhere else or wait till the next one.

for anyone who does follow the racing , its highly unlikely camelot will run in the st leger , according to my sources , lol , which makes the 2nd 3rd and 4th fav at 10 , 10 , 12 and 16/1 respectively , great bets , in a week or two they will all be half the price at least.

i tipped the st leger winner Nathaniel last year at 33/1 , as i knew it was named after and owned by one of the rothschilds
