scaffolders today

i worked with eddie proper gent and one good scaff problem today the lazy shits get the gaffers job fact

i worked with eddie one good scaff and a gent pleasure to work with him and yeah the lazy ******** and kobheads get the gaffers jobs worked with a few
 
They will do as the better scaffolders will always be more of an asset on the spanners , doesn't stop me wanting to do supervising though
 
only way is up hit the nail on the head.when it was the big mobs that really ruled the roost,the quality of training was superior.
i beleive and its only an opinion that the 714/self employed fecked it all in the late 80s early 90s,in glasgow you would have one guy with all the work off say deborahs. most of the scaffs were all on the grip/fiddle and the groundys/labourers never got the training at all because there was no time or inclanation to train them up:cry:
 
Top post Daftscaff-That's exactly how it was mate,in the late 80's boom labour only firms giving spanners to anyone out of work because they were paid heads on jobs.
