We are looking for Part 1 & Part II CISCRS qualified scaffolders on temporary contracts/ self employed basis for work in Central and East Scotland from 2012 onwards. Must be competent in Kwik-Stage system and have own transport. E-mail details to info@ahlscaffolding.co.uk

Fair point however different projects with differnt rates apply. Price work would be £2 up £1 down. MIA would be £10 per hour. Street work negotiable dependant on experience.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the amount involved for the £2 up and £1, down linear metre?

Based on square metre. We use this for sub-contrcators on the house bulding side.

grant, I'm experienced in all types of scaffolding but dont sit my part 1 till the end of jan. My mate is a fully qualified part 2 with experience in all types of scaffolding. Were both from edinburgh with own transport. can email details if we are any use to you.cheers

prices

2 pound up and 1 down, is good in the current climate for kwickstage work up here in scotland, not with the recession hitting us a couple of years ago :sad:

So to make a £100 a day,at £2 per linear metre,that's erect 50m,which is 164ft,only ben flynn could make a living at them rates:eek::eek:

Aye when they ask for cisrs,i assume it's tube n fit,i'm forgetting the popularity of the yellow peril north of the border:eek:

you will have to have that on your cisrs card just shortly as well on most sites and also cuplok another money makeing scheme :mad:

As usual, people are jumping in without reading the post. The rate is for a square metre, not a linear metre.
