Scaffolders required with Magnox clearance (1 Viewer)

i think you maybe right john,this is where you want union inplace asap,so we get all our rights under the blue book agreement.but now a days they dont want unions onsite more hassel for them.if hope things do change,in my 6 wk out work now.
 
It will be interesting to see how agencies are going to get round this one to be honest.
After all there are not many scaffolders who have magnox clearance, apart from the blue book lads of course and I cant see many of them taking wage cuts, especially when all these power stations jobs get into full swing.
Then again, there are many agencies that are making up lists of available scaffolders at present, so is there some sort of pattern developing?

Is the government going to subsidise these agencies by putting available scaffolders through their clearance?

well i"m blue book guy,been on power stations all over john,but dont have clearance for magnox,and i wont be taking bluebook cuts aswell,i know alot other guys who wont
 
still nothing back off this agency regarding start/hourly rate/digs?????? cant honestly be expecting a gang of scaffs from as far as liverpool to go to london with no digs can they?
 
yeah gave them our details but daid there waiting to hear back off the client,said they deffo have the work like,as i said tho if there not payin am not playin.lol
 
spook have you worked under magnox b4 mate,was you on for vange couple yrs ago on the grain
 
Was on trawsffyndd nuclear power station for hertel,but was a magnox site,wasn't on isle of grain me dad was Steve conlan
 
Yeah great mate, been up in Grangemouth for Hertel there till xmas on for connollys in Manchester ******* great mate ha ha ha ha! feet are getting itchy

Sorry was slow writing that then,I filled an application form in at Xmas but haven't heard anything back off it like,not takin on yet
