I used to know a couple of guys from the borro that came down to fawley, liked it so much they stayed. The contract finished and they found work with local firms.

Any idea what the score is with radius on blue book sites ?? Rates etc I found Sumat thro google of like over 35 miles = aprox 15.00 is that per day and is it one way or both ways ??

Cheers Craig...yeh I got details of what I'm getting paid, just wondered if there was a set rate for travel...they told me they wud pay radius and let me know..just wondered what it might be

Radius allowance shall be paid to any employee who travels daily to and from there place of work over 8 miles. It's how the crow flys so on the road obviously is longer I travel 16 miles to work and get paid about £14ish per week. If you google NAECI Agreement it's all in there mate

Slippers did get caught!!!

The contract was for the Polimeri site which is NOT NAECI governed. Agencies are not here to rip you off, if its Blue Book then I would pay the correct Blue Book rates We have well established clients come through us for Scaffolders and I thought this forum was a tool to advertise the work and give unemployed guys a chance to work.

i work for cape on polimeri and my supervisors just told me my basic as advanced is 13.50 that cant be right if bluebook, there paying me travelling money and full dig money,so how come 13.50 and not 14.95 as one the guys said on here.

Stephen basic rate on blue book is £14.32.
Advanced is £14.95
This does not include the bonus as certain sites pay different bonuses.

Check that out, as the crow flys now, one large multi-service company started last week paying mileage based on the AA Route Planner. Been trying for years to get rid of that crow flys crap. Maybe as no one wants to pay lodge now, they have brought it in 😁

Radius is now paid postcode to postcode (Routefinder). They've shot the crow

Wonder if there's any chance of having that backdated. 😜
