Our client are URGENTLY looking for a Scaffolder for new build residential site in Newton Mearns. All candidates MUST have valid CSCS Card and Part 1 Scaffolding Certificate. Duties to include Erecting and Dismantling of both Tube and Fit and Quick Stage Scaffolding systems. When scaffolding duties are not being carried out, candidates will be expected to help assist with other duties on site. Please note that vacancy is for ONE scaffolder and we are not currently looking for squads. We will accept applications from Part 2 Scaffolders but this will be paid at Part 1 Scaffolder rate. He is not allowed to erect any scaffolding without supervision, scaffs normally work in pairs so he is being supervised this will allow him to check the standard of work and ensure its safety before handover.

Yes I have read the Advert It does state part one only..
So all company's can start this shambolic advert and pay what they advertised
and if he gets a part one then they are breaking all codes of practise in the Scaffolding industry

I wouldn't let anyone from the Boro touch a tube or a fitting without them being properly supervised.
