Seems alot of work in newcastle and sunderland and durham

but the rates are getting lower by the week

and its scaff firms and not just agencys for a change

its going to be a hard winter

The thing is that u get ******* mugs who do it that's why they pay **** shame on the mugs who do it it will always b the same up north :-(
 
then post the number and give them all they can handle down the phone ,,,,,, advertise embargo by scaffolders rights community ,,, lets do it ,, next time we come across a disgraceful job post , there is no law to stop us showing our distain if we enquire on the phone ,, could be the start of something good , i dont think there is a law in the land that could stop a scaffolder phoning for a job and if not happy giving his view ,,, start a section on this forum called the hotline ,,,,,, wheres the balls scaffolders

I find a certain irony in your post when you are currently working for £8.50/hour...
 
21s, I think we all know when an hourly rate offered is no good.

A lot is down to what part of the country it is, type of work etc. In the north east we do have quite low rates compared to other parts of the country.

Hopefully lads will be fortunate enough to give those jobs a wide berth.

Encouraging people to give the advertisers of these jobs aggro down the phone will have little to no effect. Ultimately it could lead to the admins of this site getting grief in return.

Let lads vote with their feet if they aren't happy with an advertised job. If they don't want to know, walk away.

I agree with most people on here who say a job is a job, and rates differ throughout the country.Bear in mind this company put this advert in the local job centre, not on this forum.It is put on here involuntary by the company,who do not want these agressive people phoning them up to tell them their rates are crap.If you have a job that pays more than this, then good luck to you, but keep your gobs shut, as you have no right to dictate to others what a fair rate is or is not.You have a job, let others have an opportunity of getting off the dole, and don't come out with ***** about boycotting the company.Best if these jobs are not advertised on here involuntary unless the company wants to put them on themselves, then then have a go.
 
This is not the rate

I currenly work for this company and the rate is just a guide its all price work just made £360 in three days
