i agree but my point is what is the point in going down for your part 2 if you can just be the scaffolders labourer and get 9.72 there no point in going for it is there?

YES, your not picking up fittings all day when the prima donna is having a cup of tea because he's done he's part 2.

In my experience even in lean times good hard working spanner hands are seldom out of work and command the top going rates of pay for their region, If you don't like the rate on offer then don't take the job simples ! I agree with some of the previous posts too many think the game owes them a living simply because they have a shinny piece of plastic with scaffolder written on it .

Get quick on the spanner put up neat tidy jobs and turn up for graft every day thats how you get on in this game IMO
