Cheers Steve, hope your well mate, I will keep in touch, some ***** on here make me laugh my arse off mate... not surprised some have left this forum with fukin gobshites posting crap about a decent job like this... or can't anyone else advertise owt apart from Teeside ?? sad ****.

lads at my old firm are on 370 a week, thats how **** it is at the mo

i can not believe someone has put a job on here 30k or not and all you c@nts do is slag it off if u dont want the job or u think 30k is beneath u then don't comment

Not all of us scaff, for those in well paid positions, you're very lucky, but i would'nt shout it from the rooftops, nothing lasts forever and you may find yourself back in the real world sooner than you think:huh:

To be fair the way the advert is worded it sounds like they want you to carry out the management side of things, the safety aspects as well as work on the tools, I'd assume that there isn't a massive work load on site although I'd still be looking at least £40000.
Its all down to the individual what they think their time/knoledge/skills and experience are worth.

If thats a decent salary either I have been grossly overpaid or just extremely lucky.I would have thought all scaffolders are on 30K a year at least. Its only 120 a day.

Most scaffs round Sheffield way will be on no more than £120 a day.. However... this is £120 a day EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.... not £150 a day then laid off for 2 weeks... I did'nt post the advert, but am disapointed at some of the replies... and yes you are responsible for all aspects of management, safety, and on the tools.. its very busy every day, but obviously if people are not up to the job, don't apply.. simples... and please get the 30K out ur head...lol.... thats BASIC... ;)

I will stick with the £ 60K I get now for just looking after the safety. :D .Obviously I'm on a cracking deal
