Job Title Scaffolder Manager ( DW-11242 )
Location Sheffield, England
Salary GBP0 - GBP30000 per annum
Our Client requires a Scaffolding Manager for a permanent role based in Sheffield. The salary for this role is up to £30000 p/a and the hours of work are 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 7:45am – 4:00pm)
The purpose of the this role is to manage all site scaffolding duties on site and ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
Day to day operations will cover:
?Oversee all scaffolding activities on a number of heavy industrial sites
?Responsible for managing up to 5 staff at any one time, across the Company sites including scaffolders and supervisors
?Coordinate and supervise the execution of routine and non-routine specific scaffolding activities, such that integrity and reliability requirement are met
?Supervise the daily management of scaffolding erection and inspection on various projects
?Supervising the implementation and performance monitoring of sub-contract scaffolding team on Company activities
?Supervision of all relevant health, safety and environment and sustain able development issues related to Company activities.
? Any other duties commensurate with the job role
The ideal candidate should have the following;
CISRS advanced scaffold card
CISRS advanced inspection card
CISRS scaffold supervisor card
Previous managerial experience is ideal
Significant previous experience in a supervisory scaffolding role
Willing to participate in heavy physical work
Previous experience of working at heights
Ability to maintain Scafftag records, handover sheets and inspections
Full UK Driving Licence
An awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace
It is also desirable that candidates have the following:
Significant industrial scaffolding experience
Previous experience driving a cherry picker
Previous experience working in confined spaces
Ability to work as part of a team is essential
