We are seeking to recruit a Deck Crew / Scaffolder for the North Sea Thistle asset.
Role: Deck Crew and Scaffolder
Rotation: 2 weeks offshore, 3 weeks onshore
Flying From: Aberdeen via Scatsta
Responsibilities:
·maintain compliance with the Installation Safety Case
·adopt safe-working practices at all times in accordance with the Company’s Operating Procedures
·ensure all work including that of third parties are carried out in accordance with Company Procedures and Standards including ISSOW, Permit to Work
·ensure compliance with Statutory Regulations and relevant Health, Safety and Environmental practices
·undertake a variety of audit and monitoring functions to establish that safe and best practice is implemented in the work assigned including but not limited to shift STOP tours, Area Inspections, Permit to Work (WCC) and Isolation (ICC) audits under the ISSOW system.
·proactive in the management of waste materials around the Platform demonstrating compliance with the company’s Waste Segregation Policy
·inspect and maintain Platform Bulk Hoses to ensure compliance with DECC recommendations
·promote and be proactive in the Team of Environmental Champions within the Company’s Environmental Procedures
·participate fully in installation safety initiatives and safety training observation programme, STOP
·carry out Helideck duties under the supervision of the HLO
·carry out general deck duties, cleaning , painting, materials handling
·carry out Deck and supply vessel loading/unloading duties
·responsibility for cleanliness and tidiness of assigned areas
·provide service and assistance to other departments as required
·stan-in for Deck Foreman as required
·forklift driver/operator
·stand in for HLO as required
·ensuring Platform deck open drains are maintained and operational, defects to be reported and logged as per MAXIMO procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·proven experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
·previous experience on the asset advantageous
·slinging and Banksman qualification and experience
·VHF restricted radio
·helideck fire fighting
·hork lift truck driver
·ERT training
·helicopter refuelling
