Ok after a few jokey posts regarding Dubai in the past this job is 100% bonafide.

One of my Linkedin contacts has sent me an email looking for a Scaffold Manager for their Dubai Engineering Division.

If you have the credentials please contact Louise Robinson at Randstad, Al-Futtaim's recruitment dept in Dubai on 00971 4 7062168.

Job is no good for me as I am settled where I am at the moment.

Good luck boys and please don't PM me for more details as this is all I have.

Got the same email mate .... this is not a joke lads Al-Futtaim's are a very big company out there they dont just deal in scaffold they sell car's house's you name it they have a finger in everything. I knock the job back last year as i did not want to live in highrise accom with small kids ie 15 floor. Good luck to anyone that gets an interview.

Nice job. Id go, but due to the real possibilty of Keza coming to rain pain on me, i cant give my future workong details away... for Safety reasons.

All Right The Moneys Maybe Low But What Are Some Blokes Earning Here? Plus It Good Experience For Any Scaffolder, Good Post Vancouver, Top Marks Matey.

they find you ian. WHY, whats so good about you then mate,i mean card wise experience wise.positions held, please do enlighting us.maybe help few guys on here.

Think of it as a lifestyle posting.
4 wheel drive motor, very decent apartment with stunning views, should pull in over a grand a week cash plus "bonuses" from labour supply etc, more bars and prostitutes than you can shake a stick at and mornings in office then afternoons on the golf course.. Probably better off than harnessed up for Cape on LNG job in Africa if you get my drift lol

Life is very little to do with Qualifications and Experience... its ALL about the Contacts and Friends. ;)

Lots of tickets = more employable, but not guaranteed anything.
Lots of friends = never be out of work.
In my humble experience anyway.

Life is all about what you have achieved and what you can achieve in the future. People only remember your last job and how much you made them. If you dont make them a profit then you were an expense.
Friends cannot get failures jobs all the time. People soon get found out if they cant deliver.
Worthwhile remembering that as a proven track record of success will always get people knocking on your door.
