Simian Risk Management are looking for a CISRS accredited Advanced Scaffolder to undertake scaffold inspections around the North West of England.

Advanced Scaffold Inspection and SSSTS/SMSTS accreditation is preferred, though additional training will be given to the right candidate.

Initially, we see the role being on a self-employed basis, that would suit a semi-retired individual, (or someone who is sick of scaffolding!), who has supervisory experience but this could very conceivably lead to a 5 day week and may even lead to employment.

Written and spoken literacy are absolutely essential and computer literacy in Microsoft packages is very much preferred.

Own car and driving license essential.

Good rate of pay to the right candidate.

To apply, please send your latest cv, stating availability to dsaville@simian-risk.com

Simian you are considering employing someone who is sick of scaffolding to do a very important job that contributes to peoples safety.
You should be asking for someone who is extremely interested in scaffolding and who is experienced enough to know what he is inspecting and signing off as fit for purpose!!

Oh dear this thread is going to be better than eastenders
