Job Description
The Role:
ACTIVITIES
• Provides technical knowledge and expertise and supervision for erecting, dismantling and scaffolding construction.
• To ensure the scaffolding proceure, specification standars are included and follow, in work scaffolding erecting, construction and dismantling.
• Provide an inspection program for all scaffold structures to ensure that minimum safety requirement are met.
• Be present, visible and available on the worksite.
• Participate and be proactive into daily Tool Box Talk with CONTRACTOR and HULL SUBCONTRACTOR.
• Perform regular Audits and Inspections on HSE activities as defined by HSE leader program.
• Intervene and report all unsafe acts and conditions.
• Be proactive in the proposal of mitigations and solutions to perform the work safely.
• Ensure correct implementation of the preventive and corrective actions identified.
• Inform and report to HSE leader as often as necessary but never leave a hazardous situation unsolved. STOP work policy.
• Participate to HSE meetings and walkthrough on the worksite.
• Liaise with other disciplines and provide support in the application of the HSE management system.
• Participate to job safety analysis (JSA) meetings with CONTRACTOR and HULL SUBCONTRACTOR for major tasks of the project at yard
• Perform HSE trainings and awareness to project personnel
• Enforce the messages during specific HSE Campaigns.
• Liaise with the project assistant for the management of PPE in terms of stock and distribution
• Provide support to CONTRACTOR and HULL SUBCONTRACTOR HSE Team during Emergency
Situations.
OBSERVATIONS
• Location Hyundai Samho Heavy Industry Shipyard - Mokpo and visits to Suppliers locations in Asia .
• Starting date: ASAP
• Duration: 10 months renewable
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 10 years' experience in construction site HSE Supervision. Previous experience in a large korean taskforce environment.
• An experience for previous TOTAl's Project will be a plus
• Thorough understanding of HSE management systems and risk management processes.
• Fluency in Korean and English. French will be a plus .
Others Requirements:
• Good knowledge of korean and international HSE legislation, codes of practice, etc .
• Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e- mail communications.
