Safelinx Board Retainer - Simple, Quick, Safe... Across the Board

My apologies, the line was good, sounded like he was in the next room, did hear a muffled scream & a burp but! RIP Scaffy, you'll be missed.

Quote from AOM on this thread when the bad weather hit last year, "couple of agents singing the praises of these units today. They were sat at home one plugged in to a wind speed web site and the other watching the web cam and not the one's that Paddy watches it was the Campbeltown live web cam which seemingly looks on to a hotel job we have standing at the moment. They have come back from holiday with no finger nails left and had been expecting some form of devastation but not a thing has moved." Anyone wanting to avoid problems with the bad weather & high winds get in touch.

Remember that job Nick and believe it or not we have an even riskier one in operation at the same location this year. It was meant to be down this week or thereby but looks like it will be up over the festive but fortunately all the boards have been well fitted.;)

Was just trying to get the thread back on track after Chris' departure. Many thanks for all you valuable input. Enquiries pouring in at the moment. Did the units arrive today?

No wonder the enquiries have been pouring in with the weather we are all getting.

No sign of a delivery, I am off early tomorrow as well for a weekend away but have to leave fairly sharp to meet a couple of clients and price a job before it officially starts so the delivery would need to be AM tomorrow.

As you said things have to go to Oban before getting to you, will give the hauliers a bell first thing. Call you tomorrow. Nick

Always at least 1 additional day to get to me and there has been a fair bit of disruption with all the floods which could also delay delivery. If it's in Oban we will get it.

Sorry Nick, your units did get delivered yesterday afternoon while I was out and the boys just put them up the back of the yard and never mentioned it till this morning, sorry.:embarrest:

They look good though.;)

Wind Movement

Going past a job today, class job but one omission with the weather being crap lately. Only 4th lift on a town street, pays to secure.

Cape (UK) to trial Safelinx, Safety advisors shown samples then came back today requesting site trial. Will post feedback as soon as I receive.

Might have lots of potential Nick, they will love them, although it may depend on who exactly is trialling them. I have found usually the older the scaff the more closed he is to new things and if he is a hard nosed oiler he will not be happy without his wire lashing.

I hope I am wrong but good luck anyway, you already know what I think of them.

Will let you know who & where they are to be trialled, waiting for address to send. And the Oilers can always lash the Safelinx!

Cape in Fareham trialling samples. Site visit with H&B Scaffolding in Battersea on Monday, Battersea Reach project. Photo's Monday. Narford Scaffolding impressed & using on project in January.
