Don't worry Gary I knew you were holding back, keep the powder dry. I know what you mean by a bit boring now especially when it mattered it lay unanswered for quite a while.

I am looking forward to reading the reports when you do go though.

Front line Infantry which work for £45 a day, these lads have a better servival chance than them and are getting paid 5 times more. Controversial but food for thought.

Woodie

A measured and educated comment and I would not expect anything less from Man of your cultivated back ground...

Garry...

Controversial is right or maybe my history books in the school were wrong but the infantry were used as nothing more than pawns throughout history while the have's sat at the back with a glass of wine. Or am I missing something?

I think that the analogy is the disproportional remuneration in relation to the Task and the valor and bravery of our Lions in the face of the enemy and the dangers they face are indeed immeasurable in relation to the risk verses remuneration that we have accepted...

Plus everyone's having ago about the Pay, wouldnt go to a hostile area like that for less than £2000 etc just pointing out what some have to put up with in their chosen trades. If u chose to do it then so be it no skin off my nose & godspeed.:D in English.

Garry, I think it would only work if a strong Human Resource/Admin was heading it up.
There would also be expenses such as payroll, insurance and general office stuff that might require a initial investment.

HSWT---scarf ye, Iv packed my shemagh, never go anywhere without it ;)...

With over 11 K Members would it be that impossible to establish Universal Pool ??? where there,s a will there's a way, after all we already have the most important element at a click of a button, the Members...

If this Thread has not done anything else, it has proved that there are any number of Forum Members out there ready and willing to mobalise to UK and Global assignments...
