I dont care if fred Bloggs earned £1 million a week in where ever... I myself are very much looking forward to the experience of working away in another country.

I also feel i can speak for the other 5 of us going out there.
We all know the risks - hell Scaffolding IS RISKY... but we all here, all 10,000+ of us on this Forum get up every day and do our jobs.

I cant wait to get out there and experience it.
Neither can the rest of us. :)

its cool ur all looking 4ward to the trip but do you know what... thats the most stupid thing u have sed to date...and you totally missed wot i was tryin to tell ya....u might know how to put a vid on utube of a dodgy lookin job that most normal scaffs would gigle at - but u about to go to one of the most volatile places u can imagine and u aint got a fuuuccin clue, i'm so glad gary will be there to wipe ur nose and tuck u up cos otherwise ur arragonce and self importance is gonna land u in a whole load of shiiit and the funny thing is u aint gonna realise it till its too late:cry:

Vry interesting thread, I'd like to know for possible future reference which African countries are safe to work in a mate of mine works in Siera leone and says its really safe but has a lot of prostitution which isn't always a bad thing lol. Seems to be a lot of work out there at the mo.

All countries have their own dangers mate. Here it is falling coconuts. I read that an old age pensioner was punched and killed in Ealing High Street and a young lad in a peaceful Sussex village.
I know people who have worked in Somalia, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq etc and they have had no problems.
The best advice is "If you want to go then GO...If you have any doubts then DONT".
We all know which are the dodgiest boozers its our choice if we go in for a pint.

Here here HSWT.

Phil, maybe their Bodyguards looking for a bit of work. With the threads being posted on these pages, they could be in high demand. lol

i worked in Hackney once- many years ago .....that was really scrary...little thugs kept smearing dog poo all over the fittings and we nearly got hit by a tv thrown from a upper window on block of flats, could have done with some bodyguards on there lolo

Did a block of flats in Kennington in 2010 and had Buckets of bleach, curry powder, frozen coke bottles filled with water, a big mac  and the piece de resistance.... HUMAN SH1T all launched out of the upper floors by some ever so lovely souls.
