Any truth in the rumours that there is a lot of work kicking off in fife early nxt year?
 
It will be methil and burntisland fab yards,they won a lot of work for jackets. register youre cv with nrl

there going to be a intake of scaffs this side of this year,its all welders,platers,just now but defoz takeing on soon for scaffs :blink1:
 
This is how it works, bifab recruit through an agency called NRL based in Falkirk you must be registered to get a start , usually plenty of hrs available, plus you go through a Limited company to get the most for your money, i was making £1030 after tax for 5 x 12's nights

it may sound good but i personally trhink its a disgrace that a company who has had the likes of davy cameron and the rat salmond lauding over how good an operation it is that they cant take guys on through the books.
Pay the correct tax and nat insurance etc,not to mention holiday pay.
THESE SCUMBAGS KEPT POLISH SECONDRATERS ON WHEN CISRS MEN WERE SENT DOWN THE ROAD

do you also get weekend shifts in burnt islands mate with that bifab???ive regesterd my cv with nrl jst hoping they get back to me now
 
Thats right, they pay off all the UK scaffs and keep the polish ones in work when theres nothing happening.

plenty hours and cash to be made though if ye can handle the ***** to go with it!!!

PS..................cape looking for scaffs in mossmorran just now
 
the moss is not looking for scaffs, shell side and its aberdeen that deals with it, not linlithgow
 
Hense the reason I put both numbers. Couldn't remember which one it was. I got an email of the maintenance manager the other day saying they were looking. Maybey just local guys though. And the Aberdeen office will tell you anything. Better ringing the moss itself
