If only we all thought like that, then we would be where we belong: The best paid and most respected trade in the Construction Industry.

ive got a few

i got about half a dozen harness at work hanging in my office if they can come in handy u welcome to them

You need to be careful with using your own harness aswell as lending ones out if you or some other operative has an accident whilst using one you will not be insured and could quite easily be prosecuted. All PPE should be supplied by the ones paying the bucks at the end of the week

With all due respect. chosen one. I know exactly where you are coming from.

However, we all know that PPE has to be supplied F.O.C so why is it that there is so many places selling it? and also if you buy your own work boots for comfort, instead of the supplied sh1t, and i have a accident, will the shoe shop be prosecuted, i think not mate.

regards
Paddy

been there mate an seen a company walk away from the courtroom door smiling due to operative not using correct ppe. If you buy your own PPE you must have registered with the company your with and they must record and monitor as if it was part of there own.
PS and yes i buy my own boots at a cost of £125.00 nicker but i still get part of cost returned from employer twice a year
