ANOTHER agency that does not know what they are talking about,
an experienced part 1 scaffolder,
Er, hello part 1 is a TRAINEE, which means very little experience.
Now there will be some exceptions to this rule I know, but
Why don't they just advertise for a part 2,
but at £11ph they have no chance.

Ben cox, suck cox.

£11.00 an hour in London? Sounds like he is seeking an eastern european.

Seems to me its the old 'buy cheap', 'get cheap' sort.

That's the going rate for a part 1 is it not? 8hrs nearly 90 quid a day. The whole "You get paid loads in London" is now sadly a myth. I wouldn't pay a part 1 more than that, would you Seriously?

When it said 'experienced' pt1 it sounded to me suspiciously like they wanted a part 2 but without the ticket, thats what threw me.
As for paying a part 1 more than the 'going' rate, if the individual is good enough and can earn it, then yes.

if you were to look at the other side some lads were ecitb hence they have had to go and do part1 ect ect so really they could be cleaver cnuts and know this and get an advanced scaff for trianee rates pmsl........or maybe not its an agys thick as fcuk.........

The Agency i was working for (for about 3 hours, yesterday) was paying £12.50 an hour for a Part 2 ticket...

Now THATS a pisstake.

i see plenty agencys in london payin part 1's £14 quid an hour , right or not , i dunno

i live in n18 havent had no work 4weeks part 2 25yrs poxy agys

Need fixer in cannon street pm me

Obviously there are exceptions but I'm referring to the new snotty nosed fresh outta school part 1's
OK Point taken. Seems like you have had a bad experience with 'snotties'?
If it was an offer to work for a firm 'cards in' and on the books, then £11.00 per hour is not a bad rate, but it being an agency and having to pay your own stamp and tax just points out that they arent just looking for any young part1.
