Looking for some advice/help.

I will be sitting my part 1 shortly after being a labourer for 6 months.
I would like to possibly work away from home (based in Glasgow) and earn a lot of experience and a bit more money in the process.
Is there work out there for a part 1 or would I need to work in the uk and do my part 2 before I would be considered!?

Very hardworking and very keen to learn all aspects of scaffolding and make a good career for myself.

I understand I am nowhere near a part 2 level and I need to gain so much experience and knowledge before I can consider myself a scaffolder. Tickets don't make a good scaffolder.
But hopefully through hard work and dedication I can pick all this up.

Craig, very good question, you will need a minimum of a part 2 tbc for work away, don't try to run before u can walk, if ya know what i mean, just keep doing what your doing now, u can't buy experience.

Yeah totally agree, was just kinda trying to see if there was work out there for a part 1.
Thanks for your reply

craig, i'm not saying there isn't work out there, but i'm sure there are Advanced men , supervisors, and instructors that are all struggling to find work, it's just the nature of the beast at the moment, keep searching , phoning , and sending emails, the more you do, the more likely you are to find something

mick

Thanks for the advice.
I'll get my part 1 done and keep searching and working hard :)
