Opportunities in Canada

Sending information to a radium email is not the best, Their are times when one needs to look a little closer in how people are putting a coherent sentence together, Especially when they would like you to send them information, Regards to the LNG it was in the news again last week saying it will start later in the year, They haven't said what the company will be that will do the Scaffolding, But this will be the same as you would expect the money to be.

Average net monthly salaries in Croatia are approximately a third of that in the Netherlands.

im thinking that croatia although a member of the EU will look after its own and maybe look towards its old italian contacts when looking for the main players,
maybe SEIPEM,forget it lads its a done deal

Right now Alberta and Saskatchewan are the places to be union or non-union, I am a union worker but I don't care work is work and bills have to be paid.

1. union rate for journeyman is $ 40/hour
2. you wont get a visa as a scaffolder
3. speak to an immigration consultant, there are ways to get here.
4. UK cards are not recognised here by the union
5. Anyone telling you they can get you here as a scaffolder is talking *****
6. The visa options take around 2 years to obtain the visa, remember if you work here illegally you will have no medical cover etc.... you will struggle to rent a place, buy a car etc...
 
Yes they will Cassie, the lads under 30 wouldn't apply for an LMO they'd just get a working holiday visa for 6 months. Once there they can source an LMO from whoever they are working for.
 
They could get a working holiday visa, they get snapped up fast though.. and good luck with getting an LMO as a scaffolder.. the idea of an LMO is that the company has to advertise the job ( properly ) and there has to be no canadians suitable.. unless your job is on the NOC list.. unfortunately scaffolding isn;t on that list... as I said if people are wanting to come to canada they have to speak to a specialist migration consultant.. posting on here asking for work in canada is like pissin in wind mate.... It took us nearly 2 years to get permanent residency, and I didn't get here being a scaffolder.. might be coming across as harsh.. bit its the truth.. a couple of guys have pm'ed me and I told them the way to go, whether they did I don't know..
