I will wait for the planned underwater tunnel from the UK to NZ to open.

The scheme is due to open in May 2014 and will use high speed 'bullet trains' which will get you from Central London to Auckland CBD in just under 2 hours.

Have you got contact details for this tunnel job? Is it a long run? Will they have a night shift during construction work? I have a PTS and a part 1 but need to do part 2 and the final assessment.

The NZ crew will do the nights (because it's the daytime there) and the British crew will do the days (when the Kiwi's are sleeping)

The two teams are planned to meet somewhere just off the coast of Algeria.

No chance of me ever going down a tunnel ever again. Only just emerged out of the channel tunnel after getting lost for the past 18 years. Got a lift out from a frog on a bike with onions around his neck and a black and white stripy jumper.
