Paul Gowing = Manager

Neil Dimet was the Supervisor

The long and the short of it then.

Paul worked for me for a while before that job. Neil knew everyone in the county, a pain to work with on a street job as all the passers by would stop and chat about the rugby with him for hours.
8' lifts were his usual trick just to piss off the guy that stripped them!

Neil was a great man .

i remember the day he told all us he had Cancer .

We was working down the Royal William yard in Plymouth on a 5 year contract and i was running the job

He sat us all down and told us he had 8 - 12 months to live and cryed is eyes out in front of us all .

Now if you knew Neil he was a big strong man who never backed down from any man but to see him in like this was so sad .

I followed Neil to Key Scaffolding where again he was a Supervisor so i knew him very very well .

Such a sad loss for such a fit man .....

RIP my friend ,,,,
