Im just wondering if anyone knows of any jobs ongoing or kicking off in the near future anywhere in the world.I have 16 years experience and have now held my advanced scaffolders card for 6 years.I'm currently looking into the supervisory/managerial side of the job and an input or advice would be very much appreciated.

Mate, There are jobs kicking off all over the world. Unfortunately its a difficult thing to break into.
Just keep sending your CV off to any overseas jobs. You might strike lucky one day.

As HSWT said, it is not an easy thing to get into.

You just need to bombard everyone possible with your CV. You'll get your chance eventually, but it might take some time - so you need to stick at it. It's all about networking - and a large element of luck.

As for working overseas, in this economic climate most vacancies would be filled by people with local knowledge and experience in that particular Country or region. If you also have no prior managerial experience then that would put you even further down the pecking order for one of these positions. A couple of years supervising is always the best starting point to progress your career into management.
